Christmas Concert Announcement and more!
Great news! We have been planning a big Christmas concert for all the pupils of KSM and we are delighted to say that it will be going ahead! There will be two Christmas concerts.
*Our first Christmas Concert Announcement*
'A Night of Christmas Song & Music' for pupils 4-18 yrs will be recorded with no audience and then broadcast online in a live stream on December 19th at 7pm! We are very excited about this! Students will perform a selection of Christmas favourites and other music that they have been working so hard on since September. During such difficult times this will be an opportunity to create both a platform for our students to gain performance experience and celebrate, with music and singing, the spirit of Christmas!
In order to keep everyone safe, and minimise the number of people in KSM at any one time, these are the arrangements for recording of this concert:
Individual Performers
December 12th - 2 to 4pm pupils between the ages of 4-10yrs
December 12th - 5pm to 7pm pupils between the ages of 10-18yrs
Groups
All KSM groups will be recorded during their last class before Christmas:
Pre-Instrumental Class - December Tuesday 14th @4:30-5:15pm
KSM Young Voices - Wednesday December 15th @5.30pm-6.30pm
KSM SWOPS - Thursday December 16th @5pm - 6pm
KSM Performance & Production Group Thursday December 17th @7pm-8pm

We invite you to come join us live from the KSM Recital Room for "We need a little Christmas Concert." Live-streamed @8pm on Saturday 18th December 2021. The KSM Singers will be joined live on stage with Angela & Robert Mahon.
So we invite you to sit back, relax, pour yourself a glass of something mulled & warm, and join us in the Christmas Spirit "For we need a little music, need a little laughter, Need a little singing, ringing through the rafter...

Performance Exams
Most graded exams now take place remotely, through video submission. Students must perform all of their pieces (and sometimes technical exercises) in one take. Applications can be at the start of any month for a video to be submitted by the end of the next month. Please talk to your teacher about exams if you have any questions.
We would like to express our gratitude and thank you for supporting local small businesses in particular through these COVID times. When you support us here @the Kiltra School of Music you are directly supporting the livelihood of six local families. For this we are so grateful. Finally, can we please ask that all term 1 fees are paid before the Christmas Holidays.
CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS: Closed from Monday 20th December – Reopen Monday 10th Jan 2022
